I love home design. However, a lot of design feels overdone or contrived to look like a magazine or a museum. I believe that you have have a home that reflects your personal style and is a comfortable sanctuary where you can relax and retreat from the very real challenges of modern life. I also believe that you can do this using well curated secondhand items. There is a plethora of outlets that sell everything from high-end vintage furniture to the more accessible "I just don't have space for this..." and all it takes is a bit of knowledge to separate the wheat from the chaffe.
